Located between La Mella and Jabalcuz, Almodovar hill is well known for its crests that can be seen from any place in the city of Jaen.
992 meters high, this hill is not very high, however it holds very special places for the people from Jaen such as Fuente de la Pena o la Plazoleta de las Armas.
Main character in this article, Plazoleta de las Armas is a little flat surrounded by almond trees, hawthorns and pine trees which offers beautiful views of the city.
Playing ground, walking area and ‘play hooky’ place for several generations, this place -accessible from La Glorieta neighbourhood- is still a very special place worthy a visit.
