Jabalcuz Hot Spring
- The first mention of Jabalcuz Hot Spring dates back to 1594, by the end of the 17th century there was already a pond to take advantage of this hot spring.
- The Town Hall built a path from the capital to Jabalcuz at the end of the 18th century, as well as widening the baths and building some houses nearby.
- In 1846 it was declared of public utility, as it was sulphate-calcium and hypothermal water, suitable for gynecological and rheumatic problems.
- Together with the gardens it was declared of cultural interest in 2009, looking at it now it is difficult to understand how important it was in the social life in Jaen during the 19th and 20th centuries.
- After a million broken promises for its refurbishment and recovering, it seems that finally works have been started by Junta de Andalucia.
