El Yelmo
- Placed in Segura de la Sierra, El Yelmo is on the most iconic mounts in Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y Las Villas National Park.
- Its 1808 height and its central location in the shire makes possible to enjoy the amazing views from the top, reaching landscapes from Albacete, Ciudad real or Granada.
- It is very steep on the West side, however it’s possible to reach the top by car using the East side, although it is highly recommended- if weather condition and strength allow it- to enjoy one of the wide variety of paths to the top.
- The top- filled by communication antennae and a shelter- is famous as a flying sport center, whose fans got a compulsory date on ‘El Yelmo’ International Air Festival taking place at the beginning of June.

El Yelmo is one of the most iconic mount in the whole Sierras de Cazorla, Segura y las Villas Natural Park. It’s 1808 height and its central location in the shire, makes it possible to enjoy the most amazing views in the whole Natural Park. Especially well known by flying sports, it is in June with the International Air Festival when it shines the most. In the edition of 2014 it brought more than 19,000 people.
